In August 2020, Shure discontinued the BLX-J10 frequency band (584-608 MHz) and replaced it with H11 (572-596 MHz) and J11 (596-608 MHz, 614-616 MHz) bands. The H11 and J11 bands take better advantage of the UHF frequencies that remain after the FCC’s 600 MHz auction and subsequent TV repack.
H11 and J11 components aren’t directly compatible with J10 components, but there are several frequencies that do overlap. Therefore, you may purchase either H11 or J11 components to work with your J10 equipment.
